The Boiling CFD Simulation Training Package by ANSYS Fluent is a complete training toolset that shows how to use ANSYS Fluent software to model four different boiling designs. The package comes with the four projects below:
1. Unconfined Pool Boiling ANSYS Fluent Tutorial
This project investigates the saturated water pool boiling inside a cylindrical chamber.
2. Boiling Phenomenon and Bubble Formation CFD Tutorial
In this simulation, the difference between HRIC-compressive-Geo-reconstruct models and their effect on the output results were discussed by changing the volume fraction discretization.
3. Boiling inside a Nanotube CFD Simulation Training
The present problem simulates the boiling process inside a nanotube using ANSYS Fluent software.
4. Surface Wettability Effect on Pool Boiling, Validation
The present problem simulates the nucleate boiling inside a vertical channel by ANSYS Fluent software. The simulation is based on a reference paper, “A numerical investigation of the effect of surface wettability on the boiling curve,” Its results are compared and validated with the results in the article.
5. Pool Boiling of Water around Horizontal Tube, CFD Simulation, ANSYS Fluent
In this project, pool boiling, where a cylindrical heater is located in a rectangular pool filled with water, the heater causes the water to boil and only those molecules of water that are close to the heater’s surface start boiling and are transferred to the vapor phase.
